Father,
Today I lift up Your daughter who feels like she is standing in the middle of the fire. The heat of trials surrounds her, the pressure is intense, and the weight feels heavy. She wonders if this is the moment she breaks—but You are the God who walks into the flames with us and declares, “You will not be burned.”
Lord, remind her that the fire she’s in is not here to destroy her—it’s here to refine her. Just as You were with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, You are with her now. She will come out without the smell of smoke, without the residue of what tried to consume her, without the identity of a victim. Instead, she will carry the evidence of Your glory.
Strengthen her feet to stand, even when everything around her shakes. Guard her mind so that fear and panic cannot take root. Shield her heart from bitterness so that the flames purify instead of harden her. Surround her with the assurance that You are her refuge and fortress, her very present help in trouble.
God, let her know that the fire is temporary, but the faith she gains will last forever. Let her see that the same flames that threatened her are also burning away what she doesn’t need—old habits, wrong connections, and false identities. Let this be her testimony: “I went through the fire, but I was not consumed.”
Cover her under the shadow of Your wings. Keep her anchored in Your Word and steady in Your peace. And when she steps out of this season, let her walk out stronger, clearer, and more confident than she has ever been before.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
