A Prayer of Gratitude in the Waiting
Even delays are divine appointments
Father,
thank You for teaching me that waiting is not wasted.
When everything around me feels paused, remind me that Heaven is still active.
Teach me to trust the in-between—the space between promise and fulfillment.
Help me to rest instead of rush, to worship instead of worry, to believe even when I can’t see.
Let gratitude become my anchor when my emotions want to drift.
Let my thankfulness echo louder than my impatience.
When I grow weary of waiting, whisper again that You are not slow—you are strategic.
Your timing is not delayed; it’s deliberate.
So I thank You for unanswered prayers that saved me from premature arrivals.
I thank You for doors that didn’t open because they weren’t assigned to my name.
And I thank You for reminding me that You haven’t forgotten—You’re preparing.
Amen.
💫 Decree
I will wait well.
I will worship while I wait.
I will rest knowing that Heaven is still working behind the scenes.
