Dear Kingdom Shifter,
As I sit down to write this letter to you, I am reminded of the incredible journey we are both on as women and Kingdom Shifters. I wanted to share a part of my story with you, not as a tale of triumph or struggle but as a reminder of the importance of prioritizing our mental health amidst our fervent dedication to creating positive change in the world.
You see, there was a time when I felt like the weight of the world rested solely on my shoulders. Advocacy work, community initiatives, and personal responsibilities seemed to blur into an endless cycle of pushing forward without pause. In those moments of tireless effort, I neglected to prioritize my own mental well-being.
There was a turning point, a moment of vulnerability when I realized I couldn't pour from an empty cup. It was then that I made the decision to seek support, open up about my struggles, and prioritize self-care without guilt or hesitation. It was a journey of learning to set boundaries, practice mindfulness, and embrace the power of self-compassion.
Through this journey, I discovered that taking care of myself wasn't a selfish act but a necessary one to continue being a force for positive change in the world. My capacity to effect change only grew stronger as I nurtured my mental health and became more resilient, empathetic, and effective in my advocacy work.
I share this with you because I see the passion and dedication in your journey as a Kingdom Shifter. I know that you, too, may face moments of exhaustion, doubt, or overwhelm. In those moments, I urge you to remember that your well-being matters as much as the causes you champion.
Seek support when needed, embrace self-care without hesitation, and remember you are not alone in this journey. Together, we can create a healthier, more resilient community of women who continue to make a profound impact while prioritizing their own well-being.
With love and solidarity,
Grace
