Dear Sisterfriend,
Self-doubt is something we all struggle with at times. It’s that nagging voice that tells us we’re not good enough, smart enough, or capable enough. But I want to remind you today that those doubts do not define you. You are a child of God, created with purpose and equipped with everything you need to fulfill that purpose.
When self-doubt creeps in, it’s important to remember the truth of who you are. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, with unique gifts and strengths that are meant to be used for God’s glory. The enemy wants nothing more than to keep you from realizing your full potential, but you have the power to silence those lies with the truth of God’s Word.
Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This isn’t just a nice sentiment—it’s a promise. When you feel inadequate or unsure of yourself, lean on Christ’s strength. He is your source of confidence, and through Him, you are capable of far more than you can imagine.
Take some time to reflect on the ways God has already worked in your life. Think about the challenges you’ve overcome, the skills you’ve developed, and the ways you’ve grown. Each of these is a testament to your resilience and to God’s faithfulness. Let them serve as reminders that you are more than capable of handling whatever comes your way.
And when you feel that doubt rising, speak life into yourself. Affirm your worth, your abilities, and the truth that you are loved and chosen by God. Surround yourself with people who uplift and encourage you, and who see the potential in you even when you don’t see it in yourself.
Remember, you are stronger and more capable than you know. God has a plan for your life, and no amount of self-doubt can derail that plan. Trust in His guidance, and walk forward with confidence, knowing that you are fully equipped to fulfill your purpose.
With faith and encouragement,
Grace
