Dear Sisterfriend,
I know you feel like if you stop, it’ll all fall apart.
You’ve been the glue, the go-to, the one who always holds it together.
But you’re tired.
Not because you’re weak, but because you’ve been carrying what was meant to be surrendered.
And now God is calling you to something radical.
Stillness.
That doesn’t mean giving up.
It means giving over.
It means finally realizing that the outcome is not your job—obedience is.
It means trusting that the silence isn’t abandonment—it’s preparation.
It means understanding that divine rest is not a delay—it's a strategy.
Because when you sit down in surrender, Heaven stands up on your behalf.
So breathe, Queen.
Put the cape down.
Let your body rest, your mind quiet, your soul soften.
God is still in control—even when you're still.
Let stillness become your sanctuary.
Let it become the place where you no longer prove, perform, or panic.
In stillness, you’ll remember:
You were never holding it all together.
God was holding you.
With reverence and rest,
Dr. Anita McDaniel
