The Cross Was for You
You Were on His Mind: A Love So Deep, A Sacrifice So Complete
Dear Sisterfriend,
As we remember the cross on this Good Friday, I want you to know something: You were on His mind.
Every lash He took… was for you.
Every insult He bore… was for you.
Every nail that pierced His hands… was for you.
Every moment of suffering… was so that you could be free.
Jesus didn’t just die for humanity—He died for you, personally. He saw you. He knew you. He loved you. And in the greatest act of love the world has ever known, He chose to take your place.
John 15:13 says, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."
The enemy wants you to believe that you are forgotten, that your struggles don’t matter, that your past disqualifies you. But the cross proves otherwise. The blood of Jesus covers every sin, every mistake, every pain, and every broken place in your heart.
But, Sisterfriend, the story doesn’t end on Friday.
Sunday is coming.
The grave couldn’t hold Him. Death couldn’t defeat Him. And because He rose again, you are not bound by your past, your fears, or your struggles. You are redeemed.
So today, as we reflect on the weight of Good Friday, hold on to the hope of Resurrection Sunday. Because Jesus lives, you live in victory.
With Love,
A Daughter of the Risen King
