They Thought It Would Bury You—But It Planted You
Your Blooming Season Was Concealed So Your Roots Could Go Deep
Dear Sisterfriend,
There’s a reason it felt like you were buried.
Ignored.
Hidden.
Overlooked.
But I came to tell you: you weren’t buried—you were planted.
See, there’s a difference between being buried and being planted.
One is meant to kill.
The other is meant to grow.
And the very same dirt that tried to silence you is the soil God is using to strengthen you.
John 12:24 says, “Unless a kernel of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it produces much fruit.”
Sisterfriend, that breaking you felt wasn’t the end of you—it was the beginning of multiplication.
God allowed the dark seasons, not to destroy you, but to develop your roots where no one could see.
It was in the silence that your prayer life got deeper.
It was in the shadows that your discernment sharpened.
It was in the hard soil that your resilience took root.
They didn’t see your process—but they will witness your bloom.
Isaiah 43:19 says, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
It’s springing up now.
Not because everything around you is perfect—but because everything within you has shifted.
The version of you rising now is not the same one that went underground.
This you is stronger.
More grounded.
More focused.
More surrendered.
So don’t despise the season where it felt like nothing was happening.
Things were breaking open beneath the surface.
You weren’t forgotten.
You were being fortified.
And now—it’s time to bloom.
No more shrinking.
No more hiding.
No more waiting for approval to grow.
You’ve been planted, watered, and cultivated by the hand of God.
And what He grows, no one can stop.
With deep roots and full bloom,
