Dear Sisterfriend,
I know you’re used to carrying it all.
Used to being the one who makes it happen, who holds it together, who keeps going no matter what.
But let me remind you today, you were never meant to be the source, only the vessel.
There is strength in being soft.
There is power in your pause.
There is healing in your honesty.
You don’t have to be strong every second of every day.
You don’t have to hide your weariness behind your smile.
You don’t have to apologize for needing a moment to breathe.
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak”
Isaiah 40:29
God is not asking you to impress Him.
He’s inviting you to rest in Him.
He’s not waiting for your perfect performance.
He’s ready to meet you in your place of surrender.
This is your reminder that vulnerability does not make you less.
It makes room for God to show up and do what only He can do.
So if you’re tired, rest.
If you’re overwhelmed, release it.
If you feel empty, let Him fill you.
You are not weak for needing help.
You are wise for reaching for Him.
Let this be the day you stop pretending and start receiving.
You don’t have to carry it all alone.
God’s got you, and He’s not letting go.
With grace and rest,
Dr. Anita McDaniel
