Dear Sister,
Take a deep breath. You don’t have to perform here. You don’t have to pretend you're okay when you’re not. You don’t have to explain why you’ve been distant, quiet, or less “together” than usual. The truth is, life has been heavy. And you’ve been carrying so much for so long that “fine” became your default answer—when in reality, you feel like you’re barely holding on.
But let me tell you something powerful: you don’t have to fake fine to be loved by God. He sees the unspoken pain. He hears the thoughts you haven’t dared to say out loud. He knows the version of you behind the makeup, behind the assignments, behind the titles—and He still chooses you.
Healing starts where pretending stops. You were never called to be the strong one every day. You don’t need a cape, you need a covering. And the safest place to fall apart is in the arms of the One who created you. You are not too broken for God. In fact, your brokenness is the very space He desires to fill with His strength, His peace, and His presence.
You are allowed to have days when you’re not strong. You’re allowed to ask for help. You’re allowed to cry. You’re allowed to rest. That doesn’t make you less powerful—it makes you real. And real women heal. Real women grow. Real women evolve.
God is not waiting for you to put yourself back together before He moves. He’s moving now. In the middle. In the mess. In the quiet. In the questions. He is restoring you from the inside out—and no part of your healing journey is a waste.
📖 2 Corinthians 12:9 – “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
So, Sis, give yourself permission to feel, to rest, to release.
You don’t have to fake fine.
You’re already held.
With love and truth,
Dr. Anita
